Stratford and Parkway Avenue Closures at 1300 East
On Tuesday, Sept. 23, crews closed Stratford Avenue and Parkway Avenue for the safety of the public during paving activities on these roads. This closure will be in place through Thursday, Sept. 25. Drivers should plan for traffic delays and can detour via 2700 West
I-80 to Zenith Avenue Night Work
Crews began night work on 1300 East between I-80 and Zenith Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 16, to accommodate new asphalt paving. This work is ongoing and will continue through mid-October.
What to Expect:

Night work Sunday through Friday, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Lane shifts and up to two lanes closed overnight along 1300 East, with one lane closed during the day. ​

Increased noise, dust, and vibrations during nighttime hours.

Intermittent side street closures.

Please follow all posted traffic controls and use caution when traveling through the area. Construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
1300 East at 2700 South Closure
On Thursday night, Sept. 18, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., the intersection of 1300 East and 2700 South will be closed for repaving. All lanes will be open during the day, but lanes could be shifted to allow asphalt to cool. Drivers should plan ahead for traffic delays and can detour via Highland Drive.
1300 East at Highland Drive Closure
On Friday night, Sept. 19, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., the intersection of 1300 East and Highland Drive will be closed for repaving. All lanes will be open during the day, but lanes could be shifted to allow asphalt to cool. Drivers should plan ahead for traffic delays and can detour via 2700 South.
1300 East Frontage Road Closure
Starting as early as Tuesday, Sept. 2, and continuing for approximately two weeks, crews will close the auxiliary road south of Parkway Avenue along 1300 East to accommodate sidewalk, driveway, and road improvements. Nearby residents can use Stratford Avenue and Parkway Avenue as an alternate route.
