PROJECT OVERVIEW
Salt Lake City is continuing its efforts to improve roads and multimodal transportation in Sugar House and the surrounding area. As part of this effort, the City is launching an environmental study to evaluate concept design options and select improvements for 1300 East between 2100 South and 3300 South.
This study will help the team identify gaps in the existing transportation network; challenges faced by those traveling between Sugar House Business District and Millcreek; and improvements for vehicle, pedestrian and bike mobility and safety.
This study is building upon previous transportation efforts in the area, including Local Link, and will incorporate existing recommendations for the road into the final design.
The recommended improvements are scheduled to be constructed in 2024.
